Accessing Assignments from Home<\/h2>\n

Students access their digital textbooks and school applications through the Chrome browser, signed
\nin with their FTS Google account.<\/p>\n

  1. Open Chrome on your home device. If you do not have Chrome, download it from
    \ngoogle.com\/chrome (external)<\/span><\/a>.<\/li>\n
  2. Click the profile circle in the top right corner of the Chrome window.<\/li>\n
  3. If your FTS account is not listed, click + Add<\/strong> and sign in with your FTS Google account.<\/li>\n
  4. Click FTS Bookmarks<\/strong> in the bookmarks bar to reach your school apps and digital textbooks.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    If you cannot see the FTS Bookmarks folder, check that you are signed in to Chrome with your FTS
    \nGoogle account, and that the bookmarks bar is set to show: ⋮ > Bookmarks > Show
    \nBookmarks Bar<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    Genesis Student Portal<\/h3>\n

    Students in grades 6-8 can sign in to the Genesis Student Portal to see grades, assignments, class
    \nschedule and report cards. Open Genesis Student Portal from the FTS Bookmarks folder and choose
    \nSign in with Google<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    Virtual or Remote Instruction Plan<\/h2>\n

    New Jersey requires every district to file a plan setting out how instruction continues if the
    \nschool building must close. The plan covers how lessons are delivered, how attendance is taken, how
    \nstudents with disabilities and multilingual learners continue to receive their services, and how
    \nfamilies without devices or internet access are supported.<\/p>\n
