Head Lice

Head lice are common among school-age children and are not a sign of poor hygiene. They do not
spread disease. If your child has head lice, treat it and let the school nurse know so we can watch
for further cases in the class.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention publishes clear guidance for parents on identifying
head lice, treating them, and cleaning the home afterwards.
