Early Childhood Advisory Council

The Early Childhood Advisory Council (ECAC) is an advisory group of community stakeholders
interested in the education and welfare of children from preschool through grade three, convened by
the school district under N.J.A.C. 6A:13A-1.2.

Mission

The mission of the Franklin Township Early Childhood Advisory Council is to foster collaboration
among stakeholders so that all preschool-aged children have equitable access to high-quality early
childhood education. By promoting family engagement, supporting program excellence, and advocating
for resources and best practices, the council aims to empower every child to achieve their fullest
potential.

What Members Do

As a parent member of the council you would give feedback to improve the program, support
outreach efforts, and help build collaboration between families and the school.

Meetings

The council meets in person in the FTS Theater from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m.
